She is - it was no easy job as it was starting to resemble a jungle. But it is much better now! I on the other hand have deep cleaned the kitchen, sorted the lounge and hall, done 3 loads of laundry, 2 loads of dishes + some hand stuff, cleaned the cooker and washed down the walls! Off now to chore wars.....!0 -
Well such a lovely morning we headed out with the dogs for a nice long walk - had lunch out but it was in a village hall cafe so nice and cheap and good homemade food. Now back home - happy tired hounds and time to really get down to some work. Still not managing much money raising but at least am keeping costs reasonable.
Hope everyone is having a good day.0 -

Sitting here with my coffee and cereal trying to wake up!
Did manage to clean house and do essential work for today but still not caught up on diaries or made any impact on debt. Still at least standing still is not going backwards! Another busy week - 3 days of solid meetings, 1 night away from home, when really I need a quiet week to actually do some stuff! Ah well!
On the getting fit front I reckon I have managed 10k steps every other day and about 5k steps other days. Have stuck to my 5 a day and haven't eaten chocolate or cake (well only a few biscuits at meetings!). Not sure if it has had any impact on my weight - scales keep fluctuating - maybe a pound or two.0 -
We do have to accept that standing still has to be good enough at times. As you say, it is better than going backwards.
I am a little concerned to see that no chocolate and cake has been consumed......surely that is not healthy? I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw you had managed to struggle through some biscuits.........

Hey Miz hope it goes well at the meetings. I don't know what to suggest re stress but i reckon dog walking is as good as anything. Hope you are also getting plenty of minerals and vitamens especially B12 is supposed to be very good and iron for tiredness.
Just off to have some myself. xxBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Yes - definitely need to walk more - will do both me and the dogs good. OH does it some days and on wet days they refuse to leave their beds - so I am not getting out every day and I should be.
Good day today - need to get packed up for my overnight (tomorrow) and get an early night. I think getting enough sleep is another thing I am working hard at and it is making a difference. As is the better diet. Hypno - don't worry - I am just not buying chocolate/cake/biscuits - have no qualms about eating someone elses!
Another NSD today - and an unexpected one so even better!0 -
