Morning. OH home yesterday and reminded me we have people coming for dinner and staying over tonight  so will have to do a blitz of the house! Concentrated on the bedroom yesterday (pretty much only room guests won't be in! ) so today will be lounge, bathroom, kitchen, hall and spare room - oops! OH will help and do the meal. But no time for money making and won't be a NSD
Ah well tomorrow maybe??

Good grief! What did I tell you yesterday about a room at a time?
 2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
New day and my first day off - and I start it with a headache

So a slow start but need to get cracking as OH gets back today. So a little change of plan for stuff to do - inspired by hypno am going to focus on getting everything sorted out a little then start on money making tomorrow. So things to do today:- Do washing
- Sort bedroom clutter
- Sort kitchen clutter
- Hoover through
- Go shopping
- Check house insurance comparison (due Friday)
- Print flyers
you have to stay on topic or the crunchie police will be out to get you ....hows the head today?0 -

You def don not need a boost in the chore wars - I don't think I can claim for reheating a casserole for dinner - although there is the washing up.
Could your guests stay over in the dining room? That will save you a bedroom!
Good luck.0 -
Spare room is probably the quickest to get ready - thankfully - as am still on the kitchen and they're coming in less than 4 hours! Decided I needed to sort the insurance as runs out this week so went along to Martin's "It'll take you 20 mins" guide. More than TWO HOURS later I finally got it sorted!!! Granted I did manage to pare £125 off the renewal quote so am well pleased but it ain't got the house cleaned!
I did shampoo the carpet by the dining table where the dog had an accident though! And have done half the kitchen (including the dishwasher). so just haf a kitchen, lounge, hall, bathroom and spare room to go!
Better get back to it!0 -

Easy fortnight - mmmmnnnn! I wish!
But have finished the kitchen (took less time than Martin's 20 minute insurance comparisons!:D) and moving on to the lounge via 5 mins of sitting down...!
We will be ready!
ps El :eek::eek: :rotfl:0
