CC balance transfer - can I request a higher limit?

The good news is that I've just been approved for a CC with a balance transfer rate of 2.5% as opposed to the 14% I'm paying at the moment. However, the credit limit they've given me is half what I was hoping for - I wanted to transfer my two highest interest rate cards onto the one lower card but won't be able to do that with what I've been given.
Can I request a higher credit limit or is that going to jeopardise the offer? Would I do better to put the balance from the card with the highest rate onto the new card and then shuffle things around? One of the cards I have already keeps on offering promotional rates for new transfers so perhaps I could transfer the existing balance onto the new card and then transfer another balance back onto that card using the promotional rate, if that makes sense? What do people think? </Pp>

I have done this. The last balance transfer I did I wanted to transfer two cards to one and the limit they gave me wasn't enough. I asked and they gave. So ask them they can only say no.Wooligans squares so far - 15 x 8"
