Sick with Worry...

Well i have spoken with my boss this morning and he basically said he will check out the pics for me, and see what he can see.

He also said that he thinks the council are taking the pee with the amount. He said he is sure there is some legislation that requires them to inform me of the cost of works before they are carried out (especially as they have told me from the get go its my fault). He said he will look into that for me.

He also said to deffo phone the council and ask them for a detailed breakdown of what works were carried out, when and how much they cost.

Fingers crossed something gets sorted.

I spoke to my boss, he looked at the pics i have taken (some from when balcony was put up in september, some in february and some from last night) and he said nothing has changed, so what works have the contractors carried out?

He also thinks the council should have contacted me regarding costs before works were carried out.

He has asked me to ask downstairs where the leak was/is in their flat (and if possible get some pics!) as it may be nothing to do with the nail holes (which he has said whilst not ideal, he really doesnt think they would allow that much water in). He also said the material on the roof is not new as stated and that it looks worse for wear, so could potentially be the problem (nowt to do with me).

I do feel a bit better, trying not to get my hopes up though. But he said he will draft a letter on Monday for me with all the information i get over the weekend.
