Ethical Money Making

I like many others at the moment am looking for some extra income, but would like to do something that is as ethical as possible. Does anyone know of any companies who do homeworking/home based work but with an ethical slant. Sort of ethical alternative to Avon I suppose?

What do you mean by 'ethical'?
With regards to Avon, I think they are an ethical company otherwise there is no way that I'd want to rep for them. They abide by the DSA rules, in fact they were the main companies in getting the DSA and regulations for direct selling set up. In terms of products, they were the first company to stop all testing on animals. In terms of the business opportunity, they are open, above board and professional. Information is laid out clearly and you know what you're getting into and what your responsibilities are. In terms of charity work, they have a breast cancer crusade (I'm doing an Avon party to raise money for this later this month but lots of people are doing walks etc). They also have the Avon Foundation which puts money to charities dealing with domestic violence.0 -
Ok so I should probably have just said as an alternative to Avon. Just want to see what else there is out there, I have a couple of freinds who have done Avon and not made much out of it, so am interested what else there might be available. I am interested in all things green, organic, natural etc and just thought there may be companies doing home based selling in this line.0

What about having a look at Traidcraft (traidcraft.co.uk)? Although a fair number of their 'Fair Traders' are schools, churches etc I can't see anything on their website that would prevent an individual setting up.0

Body shop do a similar thing I gather which involves you the rep going out and offering people parties, you have to pay out for your initial stock I gather, but if you are good at it you will make the money back, and a friend of a friend of mine says it is really good.
Here is their website as I'm afraid I don't know much else about it!

Hi
I work from home, send me a pm and I will send you details.
The company we work with is ethical and gives an opportunity to work from home.
Obviously I wont post the link, respecting the rules.0 -

Boy Shop are no longer ethical I'm afraid!
Anita Roddick sold out to L'Oreal who are part owned by Nestle, one of the most unethical companies on this planet.
It's the reason that myself & many, many others have now added Body shop to our boycott list.
