Credit Report Help Please

Hi all,

Arrgh, I'm so cross with myself. It was only a few days ago that I was praising the helpfullness of DCA staff!! I shouldn't have spoken too soon. I have just signed up to check my credit reports on line, and I wish I had done this a year ago. Basically I had an Egg loan which was transferred to First Revenue, aka Vortex Data Science. On my Callcredit report it is listed as default payment on every month since last April. However, since November I have been making payments every single month to First Revenue. Not onlythat, but when Egg transferred the account to First Revenue, Vortex Data Science (the parent company of FR) created a new account on my credit report as a "bank". But then they too have listed evey single month as defaulting. I called up First Revenue immiediately and she told me that apart from 2 months, my payments had defaulted. What irks me the most is that they requested my debit card info for them to take the payment on the 2nd of each month, without me having to call in. Now I set if for the2nd of each month as I have just been paid and I know I will have cleared funds. But the lady told me that I can't have because the payment wasn't taken. All I can assume is that they have taken the payment late and that is not my fault.

Anyways, I have now changed it to standing order payment and theyhave cancelled the debit card details. But where do I go from here? I have my bank statements which show I had the money in my account to pay, but some dates they didn;t take the payment out until the 4th or 5th of the month. Does anyone know of any template letters I can use to write to FR or Callcredit to get all of this updated on my file? I really am so stuck. All I have wanted to do is pay off my debts and improve my credit, but it is just getting worse.
