  • Used them 3 times for birthdays so far and they are spot on - extremely useful if you have a 'difficult' recipient - the inside of the card can be an 'in joke tailored just for them

Also getting save the date and wedding invite cards from them too - can;t prais ethem highly enough, I'm a convert!

Well that is a shame because they are very good and work out cheaper than clintons etc for certain items!

They post to other counties, the reciever or yourself

Compared to photobox the quality is better and there is alot more choice. Infact when I sent photobox cards to my address as I wanted to include a pic of DS inside, the quality was awful compared to moonpig, I almost felt bad to send them!

If you put £20 credit on and therefore get £25 credit on your account, it is an immediate 20% saving and then you do not have to fiddle around putting in card details each time

Moonpig not only saves personal dates and sends reminders, it also remembers all the address's too again saving time

Plus you earn ipoints on moonpig too!

Yes I agree they are fab - I love the diary bit on the site, where I've uploaded all important birthdays and they email me a couple of days before to remind me, all the addresses are saved in there too so it's dead simple. Also I've prepaid for them so I don't need the hassle of finding my bag/purse to get my switch card out with each purchase - it's dead simple. I just get my email reminder, and go straight to their site and enjoy the fun bit of choosing & uploading photos etc.

I have always been delighted with Moonpig cards in terms of choice and quality, however I ordered a card for my anniversary last week which failed to arrive in time. Ordered on thursday and it arrived on the tuesday (our anniversary so too late!). There was a bank holiday but even so if it is posted out first class there is no reason why it shouldn't have arrived by the saturday latest. Moonpigs reply was that you need to allow 3 working days for the card to arrive. So if you send a card direct to the recipient - they may get it 3 days early even if you specify the date of arrival - and may open it too early as they assume it couldn't be a birthday card. I was not very happy as I had to buy a last minute card and Moonpig did nothing to compensate - just quoted the 3 day rule...

Seconded. I go out of my way to avoid buying anything from any company with extremely irritating adverts. Stubborn, moi?! :p

Welcome to the vagaries of the Royal Mail. Moonpig is not to blame here.

Got my nephew a 'rock' card and downloaded some pics of him onto it complete with his guitar and it came out absolutely fabulous. He took it round to everyone and his music teacher said it was the coolest thing ever! Well worth it for the wow factor, good service and not bad price too!

When you have entered the recipient's address details there is a facility to add a note on the envelope of the 'Do not open until...' sort. This may help you.
