Co op Banking

Can anyone advise me, I am due in court early next month for Bankruptcy. I have opened an account with the co op and had assumed after my BR I would be able to use the account. Is this the case or do I need to open a new account after my BR?
Cheers

You probably should have posted this in the Bankruptcy sub forum but just to answer your question
Is the account you opened a cashminder? if it is then as long as you tell the OR that its for use after BR then it'll be fine. Coop are BR friendly
Edit: Here's the link to the BR bit if you're not sure how to find it

You can set it up before as long as it is the basic cashminder and you tell them (coop) that you are planning to go BR .. personally I set mine up straight after going BR but there are a few on the bankruptcy board who opened there's before and haven't encountered any problems (just make sure you tell the Official Receiver when you speak to him/her that the account is basic and set up for post BR.):hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0
