Please anyone from MSE tower. We have lost a few newbies because of the trolls. And noone knows how vulnerable these people are. We know the posts that are tough love which is needed sometimes but we also know what a troll post is like. Another kettle of fish altogether. As long as the newbies are warned of Trolls at least they may not take it as personal affront. Even us seasoned folk on here get caought out and we know how it feels. If it upsets us then god only know how someone new to the forum will feel. x

And in the meantime we can all keep bumping.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

I think the powers that be and all of us are guilty of forgetting sometimes, just how green some newbies are, I remember when I first joined this site I was so green.

I had to ask what a troll was as someone had referred to "it" in a post, and they gave trolls another name [can't remember now], it also took me ages to realise what a can of spam meant :rotfl: , there are lots of people "like wot I woz" who have never used a forum and have no idea of these things, or indeed accepted internet posting protocols.

:o Oh yeah and I remember posting a question in CAPITALS once  ... I got my wrists well slapped by several members for that.

    Sorry to digress........

LOL Nomad i remember it taking me forever to work out what DD DS and DH etc meant!!! I also remember not knowing what the green light meant!!!!
I am unfortunately about as well seasoned as a packet of beef crisps nowadays....

I said in the sticky request that this thread is getting as many bumps as a crash test dummy on a bad day and i think nearly 9 pages of bumps proves it!!!! Love the smilie nomad, fingers crossed indeed. xxx

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
