    Have a great weekend.

Not down far enough to see Yellowmonkey :D

I was cleaning my DD's bedroom windows today and I could see the English Channel and even France. Nice view I have from my house. Will be a pain when the Council tax takes that into account

Have a nice weekend everyone. Off to Canterbury tomorrow for a football tournament and then work Sunday

Lucky you having a day off

Well getting the day off was nice but been a bit of a disaster :eek:Had to go and see my local nurse for a overhaul (all ok :T) Have been trying to get hold of some handkerchief's so went to my local Asda type place. No handkerchief's but spent £12.69 on a new duvet and two t shirts for work :eek: Then decided to check out for a new cooker and purchased one for £172 :eek::eek: so would have been cheaper to have gone to work,

The cooker thing is a bit annoying really. Why don't they make anything to last nowadays,it was only 14 years old.I suppose the fact two of the rings on top keep blowing the trip switch, one of the other rings blows the trip if you put it higher than two and the last one stays on full only, and on Wednesday was going to do my favorite snack of tomatoes and cheese on toast and the grill kept persisting on blowing the trip dictated that I needed a new one

Anyway that's my moan over for today so a quick bump bump bump..
Sooooo deep in debt.At my age I should have known better.

This is about to slip onto page 2 so here's a quick bump from me.

Today was sort of productive, went to sign a no win no fee contract with my solicitor, then with a £10 M&S voucher stuck to my sticky paw I nipped into the food hall at M&S and had a splurge. Came home and have spent pretty much the whole day sending emails to MSEs who have requested a free shoestring wedding book that I have on pdf. Had a break to watch Neighbours, then did some more computer work, washed up and then fell asleep on the sofa:rolleyes:
I even had a courtesy call from the jobcentre reminding me that I have a meeting there on Monday - now why don't they ring me every fortnight to remind me to sign on (not that I forget):D

    Hi everybody.

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes
