I rang the garage after Neighbours had finished only to hear that my car still isnt ready:eek: Apparently, another car was the problem. As mine is being serviced before the MOT then it shouldnt fail - if it does then I will have words. I used to take my car to the dealer but last year I took it to this garage - far cheaper and my parents took their car and were only charged for half an hours labour. :D We are all into moneysaving.

Car insurance is next month but will use this site to get the best deal for me.

Now, I just need a nice English bank for my business account (no foreign call centres for me thank you very much). Have no idea what's best for business - I don't have any money for it either.

Oh sorry B, it's the first gig I've been to this year & will prob be the last one too due to current financial status :rotfl: & fact that lawn mower self combusted yesterday .

Have checked tyres recently but beware of T's free air pump, had misfortune of having all air sucked out of tyres once, leaving them a very flabby 8 psi

I was wondering whether folks would read it as air pressure...I meant are the tyres bald.....

We don't use a lawnmower due to spiralling energy costs- we've got hens and children with scissors....;)

Probably just me that's dumb & thought you meant psi, bald tyres ? I dunno, guess I'll find out at next service... I'm a girl, I turn the key, it starts, I sigh with relief & off we go :D

Love to have hens but have a regular foxy visitor so not up for inciting a massacre, like the idea of kids with scissors tho...

Idle chit chat just as good for bumping as 'owt else I reckon.

    Hi everybody.

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes
    P
