Following on from my thread here -

I wrote to Lloyds TSB and today had a response basically saying that the arrears are due to the decreased payments I made (on their say so) when I was on maternity leave and that they never received the signed documentation confirming the agreement. They wont agree to this again because I am paying £121.65 (which is what it said on their letter to pay) not the £128.65 which was/is the cmi so they arrears are still acruing and I need to prove I am a good payer.
As a gesture of goodwill they are refuding me £6.02 of applied charges and will delete 3313.81 of pre notified and accrued charges.
Is this the best I can hope for then? Any advice? Not sure whether to accept it and just get on with paying off this loan or what.
Thanks in advance (I might not get back here until tomorrow but appreciate your replies)

Sorry to bump my thread up but wondering if anyone has any advice?
Thanks0 -
Did you get a SAR?
Have you done the calculations to see how much of the loan should be left and how much they are now saying is left? After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
Dad Gift 6k ¦ Savings & Inv Tst: £2,500
Loan 10k: £0 ¦ Dad 5.5k: £2,270 ¦ LTSB: £0 ¦ RBS: £0 ¦ Virgin £0 ¦ Egg £0
Total Owed: £2,270 (+6k) 11/08/20110 -
I asked for details of how to get Statements of the account (such as any necessary forms I need to complete and how much) as when I asked at my local bank they werent sure and were quoting me £1 per sheet of statement. They have sent me a statement of 2008 payments but thats it. I will ask for a SAR then. Can anyone tell me do I just request it and enclose the fee (and what is the fee?)
I will sort out the calculations today then of how much is outstanding and what they say and will go from there. Thanks for that - didnt think of that. How will I work out the interest rate? I am not sure I have the original paperwork with the IR on.0 -
Hopefully the SAR will tell you the interest rate - can sometimes be hard to work out if there is PPI.
There is a SAR letter on the consumeractiongroup board

Maximum cost is £10 - you may want to edit it slightly so that it relates only to the account in question rather than everything. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

Thank you very much for that. Have printed the letter out and will post recorded delivery tomorrow so hopefully once I get that back I can work it out and go from there.
The reply I had from Lloyds TSB has said I have 3 months to get back to them before they close the file so hopefully I should have the SAR before then and can work out if their offer is sufficient (albeit in my opinion its not!)0
