Clubcard vouchers/deals, unable to convert other peoples

Yesterday, I discovered that you cannot convert other peoples clubcard vouchers into clubcard deals. Someone I know sent off a large number of their own vouchers together with clubcard vouchers that they had purchased from their family.
Tesco Freetime contacted them (who issue the clubcard deals tokens-0870 8448877) and said that they could not apply for deals or tokens with clubcard vouchers that were originally issued to other people. They had “voided” the vouchers, and that the points had been put back onto the original clubcard holders account.
It was explained that they had done this previously and sent in family members' vouchers and successfully received deals tokens but they said that they were no longer accepting them as per the terms and conditions of clubcard. I’ve seen £50 of vouchers sell on ebay for over £150. Just imagine, the seller gets the £150, the buyer sends the voucher in to be converted then the original seller gets the points back!
Tesco said that they are also now issuing clubcard deals tokens with the holders name and clubcard number on the front (this previously was not the case). MFI said that they can only accept clubcard deals tokens if the name on the front is the same as the person ordering or, if there is no name at all. Therefore, when other sellers on ebay convert them to clubcard deals, it will be their name on the front and you won’t be able to use them.
Tesco said that they are issuing clubcard deals to clubcard holders with the names on but I have found a thread saying that Tesco are issuing the small value ones (like days out etc) with no names on. As these deals are also “S” codes, they can be spent at any deal which is also an “S” code like, for example MFI. BUT I cannot confirm this. Have a look at these threads –

when i was looking at buying points on ebay a while back (march/april, before the 1st may deadline for buying tussauds annual passes) i emailed tesco asking if i could use points vouchers with my mothers name on and they said no. it might have been a recent ruling because at around that time most ebay sellers start offering to convert the points into deals for you and then send them on. this is fine if you are after things like alton towers entry tickets, they won't have names on.52% tight0
