I bought one a couple of days ago as needed a multi region player and couldn't wait for one to be delivered - good buy I think.0

I read the member's posting on this about it being multi region capable with the code intstructions as the member stated in the post, but when I went on to the tesco website and looked at this dvp player, it says in the features spec that it is NOT multi region capable.
I just want to clarify and make sure before I buy it.
Thank you so much!

According to this, yes it does work. Most likely Tesco are obliged to say that because it's not multi-region out of the box.0 -
Pay a little bit more and get one that upscales and plays mpeg4
Philips do some excellent models with hdmi/scart0 -
I got one couple months back for the kids. Multi region works a treat got it from richer sounds for £20 (www.richersounds.com) have to pick it up from their shop and they will pay for your parking too0

I bought a couple of these in Tesco some time ago. They are fantastic value. We made our ones multi-region. Just search for "region hack dvp3120" on yahoo or google.
Or try the following:
1. Press Open on your player to open the tray.
2. Press Setup on your remote control
3. Using your remote control, highlight but do not select Preferences menu
4. Press the 1 button on your remote control.
5. Press the 3 button on your remote control
6. Press the 8 button on your remote control
7. Press the 9 button on your remote control
8. Press the 3 button on your remote control
9. Press the 1 button on your remote control.
10. Using the Up and Down arrows on your remote control select 1 for region 1, 2 for region 2, and so on (numbers go up to 6), or select 0 for mult-region playback
11. Press the OK button on your remote control
12. Press the Setup button on your remote control0
