Please could I have some advice on which Straigheners to buy.
I don't want to pay for GHD ones which I believe are over £100
I would be grateful for any advise.
Many Thanks
Chrissy

Hi , I have the Babyliss Pro-elegance 230 which have recieved many positive views and have been compared to GHDs. I find them great. HTH

Hi Chrissy,
Another vote for the babyliss pro elegance 230 although they aren't great if you are planning to use them to curl your hair.

Look on Ebay and try to get them cheaper. I got a brand new pair (Still with security tag and all packaging inplace including guarantee) for £40 at half 7 in the morning so obviously not alot of people up looking at ebay at that time.
I wouldnt get the babyliss as at first my sister thought they were great but then her hair started burning and they werent working so well. If I were you i wood pay the money for GHD's as they are the best you can get. I now have 2 pairs (Greedy i know!) and my first pair i still use everyday and they are nearly 6 years old!!! Definately worth the money.0/2013

I bought a pair of 'joilie' ones from ebay.

I payed a tenner for mine, the person i bought them from bought them but never used them as she found hers, apparently.
Anyway, for the money, they are bloody good!
I've got semi afro hair, so I should know! :rotfl:
Seriously though, if you want a really really good pair, i'd go for CHI's rather than GHD's, they are much better.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
Unless you have really curly, unruly hair I wouldn't bother with GHDs, and definitely don't buy GHDs from eBay as they will be fake.
I have some Revlon ones and two pairs of Babyliss ones (bottom of the range) and I find them all pretty much the same.0 -

My missus swears by her GHD's (and at them everytime she burns herself!)..

I think they are £91.50 + £2.50 delivery. A bit pricey I guess, but she reckons they are the best. I on the other hand, don't have a clue!!
Funny old thing...;)John
