MY BANK RBS have asked me everytime ive been in recently if i want a loan, mind you ive been with them 33 years and have a AAA credit rating despite being out of work for 10 years due to disability, but its essential in this climate not to miss even the smallest payment or be even a day late with one0

Is there anyone who managed to get a loan in last months? I've been refused two times despite good salary and rating. just wonder if I wasting my time and attempts
Loans are not just connected to credit rating and income - repayment capacity is also taken into a/c, have the banks asked for an income & expenditure ??
MLSLBusy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0 -
I applied for a Barclaycard loan to clean my Barclaycard but was refused.
I then applied for the same amount through my Bank First Direct and was approved online instantly and the money was deposited to my Bank Account all within 2 minutes of applying.
So paid off Barclaycard and closing it.Cheers

of course, my expenses quite small and I just needed a loan to reduce payments on another one but for some reason they refused me (tesco). I've applied for joint loan.
Sainsburys offered me 20% ))) pirates!
anyway it is not that critical, just wanted to find out what is going on on the market with loans upto 7.9%0 -
