I hope they were not actually frozen! Seafood and disinterested, low paid staff are a deadly combination.

I wonder if I asked then to bung a jumbo sausage roll in a baguette (healthy and tasty) would they do it?

It would surely taste a lot better than the rubbish "prawn" baguette. Weren't still frozen but you get the gist. Greggs must be making over £100 out of a bag of frozen prawns. From my experience a bag of frozen prawns and a lettuce, cheap mayo and the bread they must be making 50 + baguettes. Avoid the prawn baguettes, haven't tried others so can't comment.

Have just had the voucher refused in Greggs Maidenhead...
Deleted expletive behind the counter said it was a photocopy (which it wasn't) and it should be in colour. Told him we don't have a colour printer and even if we did we could have copied it on a colour copier.

    Waste of bloody time!

Send an email to Greggs head office and complain.

Advise them where you saw the offer. Tell them what a good customer you have been (up till now) and how you have reported this lack of customer service to this sites. Bet they will fall over themselves to compensate you.
:o Keep trying.........................what else is there to do? :o

    hi,

I got the email and then tried to print it off ... I tried print screen, select and just hovering as normally an icon appears to let me select print and hey presto ...

    What did I do wrong?

    hi,

I have actually just realised I sent the voucher to another of my email addresses when it asked me to send one to a "friend." How should I go about opening it correctly?

have to be the wrapped baguettes, none of which are vegetarian, asked the staff if they had veggie ones and she just said we have tuna ones *rolls eyes*

  • The likes of Greggs are a reminder of how much better it used to be when we had a real baker.

Thanks to the supermarkets those days are gone and we are left with tasteless mass produced identikit food. You may be luckier where you live, but here the nearest independent butcher is 5 miles away and the last bakery shut down 10 years ago.

That means my bacon sandwiches are made from plasticky tasteless bread and from bacon that boils in its own gooey residue on the pan. Yum!

    Thanks Tesco
