Hello, Newbie here.
Have been reading these posts and have taken the step to go BR, as i reached the decision; house was repossessed; took northern rock 10 months! hadn't paid anything since June last year when I moved out as I couldn't afford the mortgage, rent was sooo much cheaper! however, i did try and sell the house, but was informed that because I couldn't pay the debt of at the time they would not let the sale go through! silly idiots... so along with the the second mortgage on the house! long story! and various other loans, cc's overdraft...it works out roughly 45K in debt that's without the mortgage.....finally managed to get an appointment for the court which is about 10 days away and bricking it...i know myself that i made some stupid decisicions, which at the time seemed to be right and can seem to get into my head that they won't be condescending! It's strange that I used to be so good with money, and i've ended up taking the br route. scary. Anyone who says that br is the easy option is soo wrong, the thought of having my life examined is not pleasant, having to reexamine my own life and how it went wrong is sad and upsetting.
So, to everybody on this forum hello and sorry for the ramble, and good luck to us all.
Let the Journey begin.

i know i know, it's hard to actually stand up and say right i can't run from this anymore, but now your getting your life sorted and it is such a relief when you come out of court and think i'm debt free, i had the best nights sleep ever after my court date, only 1 of my creditors have rung since and they were ok about it surprisingly.
