The insurance policies themselves arent more expensive, it is however true that their are companies offering cheaper policies whom arent involved with cashback sites, its also fair to say that the cheaper policies often make higher charges for changes to policies mid term.
Often buying a car insurance policy via a cashback site may only save 50.00 ish following a 90.00 ish cashback, still overall in many cases a better deal.0 -

Oh yes, I quite agree Quidco is fab and I am up to £106 since March and have hardly spent anything, so no complaints from me! When I went through them however for my car insurance, the best quote I got was for something like £500 and I eventually got insurance for £174 from a company not participating in Quidco so I obviously went for this one.0 -
I am a fan of quidco but you may want to think about the following:
Pros:
All transactions have been tracked and most have been paid. I have not yet had to raise a ticket.
Cons:
1) You are ordering from a company's website not from quidco. Websites are good if you are ordering standard goods/services. If you have any special requirements or yours is a renewal and you can't use the website, then you can't use quidco. I am thinking primarily of insurance where I certainly have issues so tend to order by phoning a company's sales desk and going through my situation.
2) If you choose to get paid by BACS and give quidco you bank details then quidco have access to your bank account. I opened another account just to deal with the quidco money. My bank was ok with this as I still had my main account with them. Oh and I set the account up to have no overdraft or as little of an overdraft as possible. But that is a different story relating to my bank.

If they have access to your address from anywhere they can setup a direct debit out of your account (your quite well protected with this though)0
