This is Sad but Motivating at the Same Time

I used Karl Jeacle's excellent mortgage overpayment calculator and did a copy and paste of the monthly table showing the mortgage reducing through the years till it gets to zero. Then I put the .txt on my phone so if I feel a bit p*ssed off I can remind myself that something in my life is going in the right direction. :o

    Good idea!

    I've been a bit *blah* about it all just recently, but I just think of that 85p per hour in interest I'm paying at the moment and that gets me emptying my purse and DH's pockets into the change jar and back on track!
