Am I allowed to use my son's ISA allocation to invest money? He does qualify for one, but he doesn't have the money - could I 'technically' lend him it to use his ISA?????
Thanks

You are allowed to give your son money. However, once you do it legally belongs to him, and if he decides to spend it or invest it, it's his own business.I am a Chartered Financial Planner

Provided he is over 16 there is nothing wrong with what you propose. However, since the money will legally be his, he may spend it on wine, women and song, or he may waste it!In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0
