Right then got a house for £155k.....wanting to buy it...offer in...
Someone has bought our own for £130k giving us a £7k profit.
This gives us a 95% LTV.
What are the best deals available?
At the moment, bristol and west have come to our attention on a fixed rate of 6.70% with no High Lending Fee
Or Halifax at 6.59% with a sign on fee of £999!
What other deals could i look at do we think?
£1000 is really the max fee I would want to pay........its hard work this mortgage malarky!

Halifax will charge you a Higher Lending Charge at 95% LTV. Will be pretty hefty. Nationwide are good at 95%, but can be a bit old fashioned sometimes.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. We've just gone with Nationwide's flexible mortgage - SVR is 6.49%, but no fees! and you can overpay up to £500 per month, and no early redemption, so IF rates fall, you can switch to a fixed rate without too much pain.......0
