Nationwide Fees - New customer verse FTB

Nationwide have what I think is quite a competitive mortgage product (5.75%) on a 3 year fixed rate basis.
An existing customer pays £599 arrangement fee.
A FTB pays £299.
Should there not be some loyality to existing customers here?

I think Nationwide are trying to corner the FTB market as they offer Free HLC @ 95%. 95% is the best a FTB can hope for now (with the exception of B&W).
A £599 fee is a good deal nowadays (mad isn't it!)
Depending on your loan amount, might be as well to opt for SVR and see how market goes. Remember, Nationwide isn't as reliant on money markets as your PLC's.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
