Need advice on what to do...
Hi all
I hope someone can advise me on what I would be better doing.
I have a personal loan with Egg for outstanding bal of £1500(15.9%) with 6 months to run.I have a 0% card for a year with Mint which has a bal of £3500 with £3000 available credit.
Should I transfer the o/s amount of the loan to the card( I understand I'll need to bal funds to my current a/c first which will incur a fee) or let the loan run for the next 6 months and then enjoy a lower balance on my CC after that?
Just cant think straight about what would be best..I have around £300 per month to throw at this.
Thanks as usual for any advice

Depends on if you have to pay any cancellation charges on the loan.0

I dont have the t&c's here as I'm at work but I dont think so as I can make overpayments
Edit-Just checked Egg website - no early repayment charge.:j0 -
are you sure you can BT from your current a/c to Mint CC?0
-
No you are transferring a (notional) balance ) from your currrent a/c to your Mint CC.
Do Mint allow this?... I think you can only do this with Mint if you have CC cheques0 -
Cheers Clapton
Do you mean use a Mint cheque to BT funds into my account without penalty?
If so thats unlikely to happen as I dont when one will appear-I hear they're few and far between..
I think Mint will allow me to transfer funds into my account -will check later if anyone can clarify beforehand?
Cheers for the ongoing advice:j0 -
