How do you get chocolate out of sofas?

He doesn't want to eat the damn stuff - just let it melt and use it as a decorating accent

I love DS more than I love my furniture, but any suggestions about getting chocolate out of carpet, chenille chair covers, off sofas would be appreciated.
Always another chapter

    Hi Hev,

I have never had this problem, (never miss me mouth :D ), but I would probably put cushion covers etc in the freezer, wait for chocolate to freeze then pick off, the carpets I would put ice on, maybe in a bag, so it gets cold but not wet then pick off again.

hmmmmmmmm, have my grandchildren been to visit your house?

It is far easier to deal with once it's gone 'dry/cold'. It can be picked (or scratched at with fingernails) if necessary. The rest depends on what type of cover you are dealing with and whereabouts on the cover the chocolate is.

Maybe time to invest in some 'chocolate coloured' throws till he's a bit older. On the other hand, I've found that as one grandchild gets that little bit older, along comes another one  !
