Just sorted out my finances - RELIEF!

Hi All,

Well, it's a gorgeously warm day here in Manchester :j and I've just completed sorting out my finances.
Have come into a substantial sum of money and have paid off ALL our credit cards, my loan with those to-rags who like to be named Beneficial Finance and my studio catalogue.:j

Also have just received a letter from Scottish Power admitting I was right and they were wrong and I am now due a cheque for £20 which should be here soon.:rotfl: Told you so doesn't quite seem appropriate!! HAHA

Hopefully now things will start to go a bit better than they have been. OH is going for a job interview tomorrow and afterwards is fixing the brakes on my kamikaze killing machine aka my car lol.:p

Just wanted to share this with you all and hope everyone is doing ok - or as well as they can be.

All I need to do now is get rid of this virus thats sapping all my energy and I can go back to work and be normal again.

Hey! I still got a way to go yet.

Still have my RBS loan hanging like an albatross round my neck until 7 August 2011.
Best bit is, they sent me a letter the other day saying they want every penny I owe them. Paid off the overdraft they were talking about but they lumped the loan in with the demand - I've NEVER defaulted on it for the past 4 years but they said they wanted it all back or a payment plan. So now they've put me on a payment plan for the exact same amount as I have been paying "to review in 6 months".

How can they do this?!
