Actually it was stupidly banned by most major retailers because they believed it to be racist! (something about the chocolate and monkies I believe) This is something they have all recently relented on due to customer power (the mention of it in Hot Fuzz helped) The only place I knew of recently was Blockbuster that were selling it in retail packs you could also get it from Ben and Jerry's ice cream bars (shopping centres etc).

I used to be able to get chunkey monkey in supermarkets a long time ago and I can again now which is brill because it (along with the now defunct lyons maid peach melba, which used to cost about 49p for a 1l block.) is about the best ice cream ever made!
