DCA for old debt and on DMP

Hi all,
A few months ago I was contacted by a DCA with regards to an old overdraft account that I had with Lloyds. I had not heard anything with regards to this account for 3 years despite sending change of address details to Lloyds and even going into a branch (to which I was told the account had been closed down!) I was therefore a little shocked when contated by a DCA requesting the overdraft be paid back plus a large amount of interest that had been incurred over the 3 years.
I wrote to the DCA and Lloyds asking why the amount owed had increased, why they hadn't contacted me for 3 years and why I had previously been told the account had closed? The account was then handed back to Lloyds who sent me my last 3 years of statements and nothing else.
The account has now been passed to another DCA without Lloyds answering any of my previous enquiries/questions. Is there anything I can do about this?
If anybody has any advice I would really appreciate it.
