For some reason looked a bit dodge as there was a few versions of MS Money a few years back that were offered on sites for free, but sucked out all your bank account details that were entered, I thought it was a replay of that old trick as the site didnt look quite right.. but indeed the site is linked from the official microsoft site here:

I have the accounting professional as part of my set up, and it is very good.. I assume the express version is just a slightly cut down version of the pro version, that im sure if you are going to use it for simple accounts will be more than enough, and will be much better than the other freebie accounts progs out there.

It is 100% legit. I just went from micro$oft.com, and looked up accounting and then clicked on the try link and it went to that page.

thing is, it doesnt come with any payroll help, you have to get a 30 day trial and pay £9.99 a month thereafter for it...
