pack 3 good for you tropical sorbet splits passionfruit & mango reduced to 56p buy 2 packs and a multi save comes of , works out around 48p for the 6.
Steamed cod fillets with a basil & tomato butter (this is very yummy), should be around 1.97 but reduced to 37p
And Bolognaise pasta (3 for a fiver section) reduced to 48p and if u buy 3 you get the multi save

I think we should have an ASDA own thread(like our boots and tesco) if there is this many bargains.

Wow, someone else who remembers lollygobblechocbombs! Dh is younger than me, and he had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned them. They were my favourite ice cream bars.

Went to my local asda today (cardiff) and bought 8 orange fab ice lollies for 69p BOGOF...went to checkout and they were charged at 69p each but had £1.64 back from a multisave...so got the lollies for nothing and had 28p back...bargain or what.[/QUOTE]

Not for the first time am I going to appear a little thick..........

if you buy 8 for 69p = £5.52 - BOGOF should be £2.76 (69p x4) but if they give you £1.64 x4 does this mean they are giving you £6.56 discount (ie £1.04back)

or have I missed the point again

I like the Orange Fabs but mine came in at £1.63 each - but buy two and the multisave discount is £1.64 - so discounted a penny @£1.62 for 2xpack of 8.

But, I did get a £2 card for the overcharge on some clip folders - some have stickers whilst others don't so 32p for 1 but got charged £1.24 for the other identical file. Got my refund then bought another 2 in the same situation ...I see a gift card on its way. Interestingly, the checkout guy noticed the 2 were priced differently and STILL let it go - maybe coz its Saturday and busy but I guess even they can't be asked at times so imagine how many we let get away.

Used some Zing vouchers too....

I have definitely shopped more at Asda since their policy was put in place of taking vouchers though! Even got my sister shopping there and she shops by the carbootload and NEVER uses vouchers even though she knows I do! Can you believe it? I used to be the same....its like looking into the mirror and thinking boy how much money did I have to waste!

I am forever asking people if they remember the fab type lollies that had hard choc in the middle but in my brain they were called 'rock around the choc' please does anyone else remember them as that as people think im mad!!! they were my fav lollies ever!! i was born in 1970!!
