i wanna ... find an engagement present for a couple who dont live together???

help! I have no idea what to buy my partner's sister who has just got engaged (after being with her bloke only 7 weeks - so i have no idea what he is into etc!!!) - they are having an engagement party this friday so not much time to order anything offline (what with the bank holiday order backlog)
Any ideas?????
Dont know if they are going to move in together in near future - she practically is living at his place but nothing official so dont think household things would be appropriate.........
Would a card suffice???? After all, they have only been together a VERY short time and (without sounding tight...!) i dont wanna spend much at all in case it "doesnt work out"....which it may well not (7 weeks.....!)

How about tickets they could use at the local cinema or theatre so they can choose a night out.0

I wouldn't buy them anything, I never send engagement presents. Get them a card and buy them a drink on their night out.:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0
