Other uses for water from a water butt

I've read through the posts most of today but can't find a forum/subforum devoted to water in a water butt ..

For my b/day I was given a water butt which is now full thanks to the rain last week. Obviously the water isn't palatable so I'm looking for ways to use it, so saving on my metered water. The only suggestions I've found are tipping it down the loo, washing the car, washing the floor, putting in the iron and using in the steamer - and watering the garden, of course. There must be hundreds more but I've gone blank  - please help me add to the list!

Not sure I'd use water from my butt in my iron. My roof has moss and algae on it as most roofs do, bits of this come down and end up in the butt. Also water left in there for a while with the sun on the butt can get a bit smelly, so it's probably not as clean as you'd think.

I use it sometimes to swill the driveway but usually this time of year I am short of water in the water butt so only do it when its full.

I also save water in watering cans and thsoe bright orange buckets that builders use to use as much water from the garage (source of the water for the butt) as I can
