Just found this LiteOn DVD writer (Multiregion) on amazon - £94.99 delivered!

I've had a LiteOn DVD writer drive on my PC for years and its been superb - got a great reputation within the industry but brobably arent that well known by consumers.

Also, not sure if you can get cashback through sites like greasypalm etc but I know that if you use the Amazon Credit Card that Martin mentioned in his latest email you get a point for every pound which can then be converted into vouchers...

Does it need to go in both "grabbit" and "shop 'til you drop", feetup? It's not time limited so it doen't belong in "grabbit" I don't think.

yeah, think you're right - but you never know with amazon, as Ive found prices change on a weekly basis for some things and they have highlighted the previous price, suggesting that it may be a sale item...(?)

Hmmm. I don't think the price has changed recently. I'm fairly sure that when it was getting discussed on here a few weeks ago it was just sub £100. It's ok as a machine, but it doesn't play divX, which some people find more of a problem than others. Personally I couldn't do without divX on a dvd player, but if people don't know why they'd need it, I suppose they're not really missing out!
