One of our local rescue centres gets local businesses to sponser individual animals. Then a picture of each animal with "kindly sponsered by X" is featured in the local rag.
It's relatively cheap advertising for the companies (with added feel-good fuzziness) and helps pay towards the animals upkeep.
The downside of ANY publicity, including the TV exposure, is that the lady will likely find boxes of abandoned kittens at her gate in the future!"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0
