Looks like it could be interesting. My acupuncturist will be on it, I can honestly say she's the best thing that's happened to me, with regards to pain relief. I've been able to dramatically reduce the pain meds since I started seeing her.

I don't mind if it is the placebo effect, being free from daily migraine and chronic sinus problems is great
Edited to say this post was in response to someone who has deleted their post and not because I was talking to myself..... again. The stupid things you do, you regret... if you have any sense, and if you don't regret them, maybe you're stupid. - Katharine Hepburn0 -
Hi sleepymy
Thanks for the reminder about that programme. I just watched and I found it very interesting.
I hope these therapies can become available through the NHS for everyone who could benefit from them.
Take care

Ack I forgot about this last night!
Chiropractic was the only thing that has ever helped my back, physio etc done nothing. Wish it wasnt so expensive though!!!!Norn Iron club member - 2650 -
You're welcome booklover, it would be great to get some of the treatments on the NHS if people didn't abuse the system. I know you can get 6 - 8 treatments of acupuncture with the physio's for pain relief but I had two lots of treatments with them and it didn't have any effect on me. Getting it with Cathy at the Chinese clinic on the Lisburn Road is well worth the small fortune it's costing. If you buy 4 treatments at once you get another one free in true MSE style
Jamie it's available on the BBC I player if you want to catch up with it.
