Hope this is posted in the right place! I have about 7 Hi8 camcorder tapes (never put onto video as i didn't have the right leads) and would love to have them put onto dvd so i can watch them on tv as i can only play them on the camcorder screen which is tiny and my boys love watching themselves!
Does anyone know of any 'high street' shops that offer this service at all? I just want to transfer them over and keep my memories but i don'tknow who i can get to do this for me. Any replies appreciated! Thanks x

Good photo shops do this, our local one charges £10 per tape to CD, it is in South Wales so probably not much good to you but do check the camera shops, photo shops, independant ones though, not the big corporates!£2 Coin Savers Club (Christmas)- £86£1 Jar (Christmas)- £29Christmas Vouchers Saved: £1450

Would suggest that perhaps you look at this list, and if you see any local to you (hopefully more than 1) give them a call and ask for a quote.
If you get more than one shop that does it, you may be able to play the quotes off one another to get it a little cheaper.0 -
