Formal debt notice from a credit agency

Hello, I have just picked up two letters at my mums house from Creditlink Account Recovery Solutions Limited saying I owe £302.47. The first is titled 'Overdue Account', the second 'Formal Debt Notice'. I had never heard of the creditor but I've looked it up and it is some sort of internet film rental company.
I've certainly never received any dvds in the post before so I don't know how this has happened. I have never signed a credit agreement with this company. Furthermore, I haven't lived at the address since I was seventeen - is it possible to accrue debt before eighteen?
Any help with what I should do about this much appreciated.
