Boots £5 beauty voucher for topping up your PAYG mobile.

Hope this hasn't been posted.

Just topped up my mobile at Boots with £10 and not only got 40 points, but also a £5 skin care voucher. Checked with the assistant and you get a voucher for topping up with just £5.

Soooooo....
I added 2 lots of £5 to my phone and and another 2 lots of £5 to my daughters

£30 of calls + £1.20 in points and £25 to spend on Skin care. I will use the air time anyway so its only spending money I would have spent anyway - just not this week.

Offer ends 13th Sept.

Don't forget to split any top ups into £5 lots to max out on the vouchers

It doesn't seem to work on postage stamps though I bought 2 packs of 12 1st class stamps yesterday and was told you don't qualify for a skincare voucher even though I spent £7.20. I did think it was on everything in store when you spend £5 or over.

Does anyone know if thats correct?

wow is this really the case!
i was planning to buy all sorts of baby bits this weekend so will do it in smaller lots if so.
seems a bit odd as it's usually a £15 spend

I'm on Virgin mobile and they allow £5 top ups - which I didn't realise until today at Boots
  • Pretty sure that because you won't get Advantage Card points on stamps they won't give you a promotional voucher on stamps. In fact people were taking the mickey with top-up's for promotional vouchers they stopped giving them out on top-ups for a while but i see that this has now resumed - although the last time i topped up because it was part of an overall purchase including a beloved Meal Deal and other things they gave me a voucher. I just buy stamps at Woolworths of Post Office as nowhere's allowed to dish out loyalty points on stamps.

I've given all my skincare vouchers away as the only facial product I can use is one basic No.7 moisturiser which I stocked up on in July when they sent me a 750pts voucher on it andanythign else like wipes, cleanser, face masks and face scrubs freak my skin out.

What is the skincare voucher for? Is it for any skin care product in Boots? and can u use it on its own or do you need to spend x amount of money to be able to use it?

In responce to tops ups and stamps
Have it done when your at the checkout at asda using one of those plastic swipe cards or ask for your stamps.
Then you can pay 10% off with coupons. So 10% off if you have the coupons anyway
