Premium Chardonnay Asda, was £3.28, now £1.98

Just been to Asda

Premium Chardonnay - Vin De Pays D'oc was £3.28 now reduced to £1.98. Buy six bottles and get a further 10% off.

There was also a Claret at £1.98, but as I don't drink red wine, I didn't take much notice of what it was, sorry.

This wine has been part of a clearance that has been on for over a week (was posted on this forum)...including French Connection and Hogue wines. The ASDA Chardonnay Reserve seems to be the one they have most to get rid of. The flavour seems to vary somewhat. Just bought an Australian Chardonnay made from organic grapes which is quite nice - personal taste though- - £2.99 down to £1.99 (down to £1.80 if you buy 6). Up until today you had to look hard for the reductions but today they put Clearance notices on them.
