Thursdays Daily mail has two coupons for half price Octobers Olive magazines,together worth £3, page 15. Actually at the till in Tesco a few weeks ago I was given a slip for a half price Daily Mail which I thought was going to be of not much use (Also found an abandoned one in a trolley outside so someone else must have thought the same!) So I got two copies and for 40p I got £6 of coupons.
(Actually wanted to buy Olive but our Tesco did not seem to have any in stock but the voucher scanned at the till)

Thanks for the Daily Mail coupon - the last one, the Harpers and Queen ??? - wouldn't scan at Asda and they get arsey when you ask them to manually put it through....

Are the vouchers for half price or for £1.50 off each? - cos if they are for half price then they won't give me any money off by scanning them at Tescos0 -

One way around this, well it needs a bit of cheek. Use your voucher to get the Harpers and Queen or whatever mag it is, making sure it is the first thing through the till and you have other bits of shopping to go with it and then afterwards take your till receipt and mag straight to customer service and exchange it for whatever magazine you did want to buy.
I had to do this once when I had a points voucher for Elle magazine. Fortunatley I had a quick flick through it when I got back to the car, no coupons or offers, not much to read so I exchanged it at customer service.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. I tried one in Tesco today and it tok £1.50 off my bill

Wow! Thanks a lot! Waitrose has no problem with accepting these as they don't scan vouchers anyway but put them through manually. I dashed out this evening and bought up all the copies I could find - 11 in all! £33 off my shopping for £4.40!0
