New Woman Mag October gifts and offers

Not sure wether this belongs here because you have to start off by spending money????


In WHSmiths I bought the October edition of New Woman, £2.80 (actually I bought the Times and got £1 off a magazine so it only cost £1.80).

There is a free purse, choice of two colours, which I think is going to go into one of my Christmas shoe boxes. Might be worth buying both colours.

Also a free sample of perfume, two sachets of VO5 shampoo and conditioner and a sample of L'Oreal straighteners.

Also a discount card which you use with the vouchers on page 225. One voucher gives you two free bottles of Mavala nail varnish worth £6.90. Check to see if you have a local stockists - use the first three letters of the postcode of your local shopping centre.

These would make great stocking fillers or cracker fillers if you make your own or again they could again put them in the Christmas shoe box. (Or you could paint your nails and that would stop you eating Walkers crisps for 5 minutes!)

(If you don't have a local stockist pm me, we have 2 near by and these are small enough to go in a jiffy bag)

Also there is a voucher which gives you 50% off at Regis hairdressers for a cut and colour, Monday to Thursday. I am using my voucher shortly so will let you know how much its possible to save.

Also on the back of the voucher page is a coupon to save 20% off Ravel shoes, so you have to choose hair and nails or shoes!

Also 15% off at figleaves.

As a shoe-oholic the 20% of at Ravels was a dream, but there isn't one near me and they don't seem to have a website. Or do they? Anyone please?

Its shoes and assessories so even better. I think the cheapest bag on the page was about £20 so a 20% voucher would be very useful.There was not enough of the page left when I finished hacking coupons out but on another page I found a contact number

Thanks for the link, i didnt realise i had a mavala stockist quite near me so i get the freebie

Not fair though, get this mag on sub and i didnt get a hair straightener thing or perfume did get a free grazia mag though, think every mag is handing those out just now lol

Bit disappointed with Mavala - no stockists near to where I live or where I work and as I work in London I thought there was bound to be one close by! Guess it has to be shoes..........

No, we're too tight on Freebies board to actually spend hard-earned cash on freebies!

I've moved this over to Shop But Don't Drop, where these types of magazine offers tend to live.

Sounds like a good issue - typical my subscription has just ran out! :rolleyes:

thanks for the post, just picked up my copy.
When searching for the nail varnish stockists i entered the first 3 letters of my postcode and it brought up one stockist but then i put in just the 1st two letters and it brought up 22 matches one of which as closer than the original 3 letter match .Might be worth changing slightly what details you put in the search box if you don't get any successes.

I also got a free copy of Grazia with my copy. And in Grazia you can nominate 3 friends to receive a free copy PLUS a voucher for £1 voucher for your next copy of Grazia. Did anyone else get this?

Refer a friend closed on 6th Sept - only got the mag on Wednesday - typical!
