Sainsbury's multi-buy discount

Just been to Sainsbury's and I thought I would post amid the discussions re tesco and no multi-buy discount on reduced items.

If you buy items that are reduced in Sainsbury's, if those items are part of a mulit-buy and you buy the right amount, then you will still receive the multi-buy discount.

E.g Quiches are on a Buy 2 for £2.50 at the moment. I picked up two that were both reduced to 99p each. They scanned at 99p each and then I received the 68p multi-buy discount that would have made them £2.50 if they had been full price.

This no longer happens at Tesco so it is worth bearing in mind if you do shop at Sainsbury's.

Sainsburys have Kellogs Just Right on multi buy, shelf price says £3.50 for 2 packs but it goes through as £2.50 for 2 packs after refund.
