Debt management plan advice?

Hi, Im new to the site but so grateful to have found it. I was Bankrupt a fair few years ago and learnt nothing at all from the whole experience. I find myself in £4k of debt again, my husband knows nothing about it and ive stupidly over the past 3 months taken out pay day loans with pounds till pay day and quick quid to make ends meet. I cant live like this anymore its making me very ill, so on the advice of some of the threads here I contacted CCCS who have been brilliant so far. I just wondered what happens if the silly pay day loan companies which I owe 300.00 in total dont agree the dmp what will happen? I am very scared of any legal action and my hubby finding out. He has the mortgage in his name only and we have nothing jointly due to my incompetence with money but he said last time that he couldnt take it all over again and yet here I am with nothing to show but stress for £4k. I really want to stop living like this and contributing like an adult!
Hope someone can help?!

First thing you need to do is talk to your husband about it. There is no point being together if you can't be open & honest. Second, go to www.cccs.co.uk and look at what they say, there are a few options but they must be joint. We had a few creditors who didn't aknowledge our DMP, never mind accept or reject it, but we found when we stopped paying the creditors (as told to by cccs) they soon accepted the plan!!!! They have been great with us, but its all about being open and honest with cccs, your creditors and your partner!0

Just wanted to thank the site for pointing me in the direction of CCCS. They have been fabulous, I appear to be well on my way to sorting out the situation, they are very friendly, havent judged me and are quite happy for me to contact them daily with silly questions! I have decided to tell hubby all, at least he can see i have taken some positive action, the rest is his choice really! I certainly dont want to drag him down so its only fair her makes his own mind up.0

CCCS are great. I'm on a DMP with them at the moment and I'm so glad I took the plunge. I contact them frequently with questions and queries and they always put my mind at rest. They were even superb when I spent 20 minutes crying on the phone to them before I started my DMP. You've done the right thing kazza and keep posting here for all the support you need and well done for speaking to hubby - a problem shared is a problem halved.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free
