First of all i would like to apologise if i have posted in the wrong thread.
My husband had a loan for £10000, everything was running smoothly until i went into our bank. the bank adviser who i know really well said that he could give me a better deal on a loan then the one my husband had, he knew that i am receiving incapacity benefit due to having cancer but persuaded me to take one out for £14000, so i used £9500 to pay off husband's loan then the rest on bills as we got behind on some payments due to my diagnose. Well the past 3 months i am struggling i phoned the bank explained to her but she was so rude, that she told me that i owe them the money and that they want it each month £309 and if i don't pay they will keep adding charges to the account and that they will take me to court. I have written to my bank asking for charges to be refunded due to me receiving benefits and them taking my benefits to pay the charges but they sent me a letter with a claim number saying that its been logged and that they are not doing anything until the court case is ended with oft. I am unable to sleep of a night due to the worry this is causing, i know i have really been stupid into taking out a loan but i honestly thought that the bank adviser was helping me as i have known him for 20 yrs. I cannot see a light at the end of the tunnel. i would be grateful for any help thank you
