Windows Update -Audio - IDT HDMI? what's this update?

Anybody know what this update is. It seems okay with some update to do with HDMI but the date is last September and it only appeared yesterday with no details on the Microsoft website yet via this link?
(Windows Vista Premuim by the way)

It is a driver to pipe sound thru the hdmi so u can connect to a hi-def tv with only one cableclick here to achieve nothing!0 -

I installed it and realised that I had lost the sound on my pc. Googled it and found lots of sites where people had the same problem. I followed the advice here to restore it.

Had to do a System Restore to the day before IDT was installed.0
