Question for the brokers

Now that prices are on the slide do you think you will still be in business next year. A lot of my deals are so close on LTV that if property drops 10% I am going to have problems.

Not so worried about LTV, more concerned about the ongoing problem of lenders doing much better deals direct to clients.

sarkin - as a broker asking for other brokers opinions, maybe you could do the pleasure of adding a signature - that is compulsory on these boards for those identifying themselves as such

If property prices drop, then perhaps new buyers to market . Existing clients on ( then) high) LTV will have restricted choice on renewal products , and also may have problems moving

Sarkin - keep your chin up - I am sure things will be fine - there is still lots of business out there for all of us and looks like Abbey are starting to re-introduce some Exclusives !!!

its not about lenders finding some money, its about having the confidence to lend it out.
