Any chance you could do favours for people to get a bit of cash, maybe babysit for a friend or something to get a few quid?

Anything you can cut down on that you buy at the moment even if it's small things like newspapers, mags, lunches at work???

I actually don't really buy any extras at the moment as I am pretty skintos but the doing favours thing is a possibilty - my mum may need a dog walker for a week next week so sure could get some pennies from that!

Have started slice the pie and am having a night in on my own tomorrow night so could definitely do that for a good few hours - try and get a fiver or two from that.

That sounds great about the dog walking :)

Hopefully all your ebay things will sell too. If you have any old books/CDs they sometimes sell for slightly more on Amazon (in my experience anyway) - only problem is sometimes slower to sell

Wow I have never heard about the reviewing music wornoutmum has suggested, I'll check that out myself

I do hope Ebay brings you some money, I am a regular seller and in the past few months EBay simply isn't the answer for a quick fix anymore, more and more people are having to tighten there belts with rising costs, and the first thing most people do is to stop buying luxuries.i.e books etc.

Walk the dog, car boot, just in case EBay doesn't come up with the cash you need.

    Good luck though.
