Hi there we have been using a broker, who has not been the best for us,
To cut a long story short the mortgage we set up with the abbey has changed and we now have to pay 15% deposit instead of 5%
We put an application through Halifax but is was rejected and now we are panicking about whether we will get a mortgage or not
Apparently Abbey would be fine but we can’t raise the extra to go with it
40% share = 60000
Please help
Many Thanks
Matthew

Hi there,
I'm not sure if this helps, but I'm currently undergoing a Mortgage with HSBC for a Shared Ownership Mortgage and mine has been approved. Maybe worth a try? Especially as HSBC, are not included in any third party searches inlcuding brokers.

No you don't.
Need a shared ownership mortgage
You want a shared ownership mortgage.
You can't afford it.
Therefore, you'll have to go without. Sorry.poppy100 -
Other high street lenders should be able to help
A couple will even offer you a 100% mortgage of the share you are purchasing - assuming you meet their criteriaI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
