Getting Property Deeds

We will shortly be finishing our Endownment Mortgage during the next month
could you please tell me how to get the deeds to the property which are
held at the moment by the Building Society untill the Endownment monies from the Insurance company is payed latter thi month

I believe all you have to do is request, in writing, that they be sent to you.
Would it not be safer though, to leave them where they are?0 -

correction to request. mortgage is finishing. what is the cheapest easiest way to pay for redemption?
