Dell Noise

Not sure if this is the right place, but I just received my Dell 5100 and whilst it runs very quietly, when I get it to do anything, it makes a very loud noise -sounds quite clunky?! Does anyone else have this? Should I return it? Thanks

Take it back sounds really iffy. Dont Delay.

Sounds like either a hard drive problem or a system fan issue. As already suggested I'd get dell to replace it. These are great PCs and should run whisper quiet.

You may find this to be normal. All the 5100's I have bought (around 10 in the last month) are wisper quiet which exaggerates the noise of the hard drive. Still worth a call to customer services ....
